PSCo’s training offerings are equipping its customers with the skills to achieve stellar results when working with the latest LED technology. Zoe Mutter finds out more from Stuart Holmes, director at PSCo.
Course title: PSCo LED training
In what format is the training offered?
The PSCo LED training courses are one-day events run at the Assessment Centre facility in Reading, combining a mixture of presentations and hands-on practice.
Who delivers the courses?
Each section of the course is covered by the relevant manager at PSCo. This includes:
An introduction and product overview from Liam Winter, LED product manager;
An overview of the system, mounting, software, practical and troubleshooting from Peter Boughen, technical delivery manager and information on repairs from Peter Grant, repair and support manager.
Where and when does the course take place?
At the PSCo Assessment Centre in Reading, every quarter.
Who is it aimed at?
We run two courses and tailor the content and hands-on session to suit our live events partners and system integration partners.
Which core topics will the training focus on?
The training focuses on all key areas of LED display products; from an initial product overview, to technical delivery including practical handling and finishing with repair and support. We run manufacturer specific training courses covering all products in our portfolio including Absen (Absen Certified Engineer) and Samsung.
Why is training such as this so important to the company?
As a trade-only rental and distribution provider, we want to support our partners as much as possible in every aspect of a product within our portfolio. As we handle these products day in, day out, our Training Academy allows us to share our knowledge and experience consistently, updating product developments as and when they occur.
