PSCo shines at Screenmedia Expo 2010

PSCo's stand drew a crowd at Screenmedia Expo, showcasing the latest videowall and big screen technologies including the launch of Prysm’s revolutionary new Laser Phosphor Display (LPD) technology.
Prysm's showcase of this groundbreaking screen technology, featured twelve 25” LPD screens in a videowall formation. The technology is hotly tipped to revolutionise the professional display world, thanks to its design flexibility, low power consumption, and eco-credentials, with each LPD panel drawing just 30 watts of power, making it around seven times more efficient than an average LCD screen.
Industry blogger James Van Etten commented;
"You guys had an exciting stand and always seemed to be surrounded by onlookers, groupies and customers, one had to literally wade through to see what was going on. The laser screen was indeed a show catcher and clearly that was what the commotion was all about."
The stand featured the new Infinite Plasma OPM-4250, the fifth generation of bezel-less plasma technology boasting improved colour reproduction, increased digital input compatibility and the ability to address a wall of up to 100 screens without external processing. This was displayed alongside a pair of NEC X461UN ultra narrow LCDs and Samsung UTn LCDs to help visitors to view the difference between the technologies.
Steve Scorse, Vice President of Prysm EMEA commented;
“We were delighted by the reception for LPD at Screenmedia Expo, with great feedback from both system integrators and end users attending the show. It was an exclusive opportunity for the EMEA audience to preview the technology before our worldwide launch at Infocomm next month, and it was very important to us to include this focussed niche in the development process."
Panasonic’s stunning 12 series 103” Plasma featured on the entrance to the stand, with Full HD images on a huge scale to greet visitors. The 85” Panasonic Plasma was also on display alongside Samsung’s stunning new sunlight readable LCD screen, designed for outdoor digital signage applications.
