The AV industry turned out in full force on 11th October to celebrate the finest examples of tech innovation, talent and creativity at the AV Awards 2019. Renowned as ‘The Oscars of the AV world’, the ever-evolving event moved to a new venue, the spectacular Battersea Evolution in London to mark the industry’s achievements in style.
With a new venue and under the theme ‘The Future is AV’, organisers wanted to create an impactful first impression and chose to position two Absen LED displays at either side of the entrance to greet the 1,400 industry professionals that attended the event – making it the biggest awards show in the AV calendar.
Both screens were made up of 7x4 panels (896 x 512px) of PL3.9 Pro from Absen’s multi-award-winning Polaris LED rental series. With common cathode technology and 5000nits black LED, the screens delivered a visual punch and could be seen from far afield, displaying branded content to set the scene for the big night. The screens were provided by PSCo, Absen’s exclusive distributor in the UK.
Commenting on the displays, Rach Hamilton, brand director at AV Magazine added, “Despite the rain, the screens performed exceptionally well, and visitors were full of praise. We would like to thank Absen and PSCo for sponsoring the screens and helping us to elevate the experience for our guests.”
The ultra-high brightness, high-resolution display makes Absen’s PL3.9 Pro the perfect solution for outdoor viewing but offers equal performance as an indoor LED display. It is, therefore, a favourite amongst rental companies looking to generate rental income all year round to maximise their ROI.
Absen’s full range of rental LED products, including the PL3.9 Pro, are on displays at our Experience Centre in Bracknell, To book a live demonstration or to find out what offers are available this quarter, please contact a member of the team on email@example.com or call 01344 592 222
