LED Walking Tour at ISE 2024

For the first time, PSCo led an LED walking tour at ISE 2024. The tour was run by Liam Winter, Head of LED at PSCo. The tour aimed to share expert insights into the LED display market, highlight the latest LED trends and discover the hottest new LED products from the world’s leading brands in the flesh.

Absen LED

Absen’s theme for ISE was Smart Space Revolution, showcasing high-quality, reliable solutions for rental and fixed install applications including simulations, live events, creative retail, data visualisation, corporate and for the first time at ISE, DOOH. MicroLED was on show more than ever before, across modular and all-in-one display solutions and their smallest ever pixel pitch 0.7mm MicroLED display.

• Hands-on zone demonstrating a wide range of rental products
• Control room zone showing Absen’s latest MIP MicroLED technology with 0.7mm pixel pitch, powered by Datapath
• A professional racing simulator experience with a genuine Aston Martin touring car running at a 120Hz frame rate
• Conference room zone featuring Absenicon X series, a new range of MicroLED all-in-one solutions, including 21:9 ultrawide and touchscreen versions
• Creative retail zone introducing Absen’s latest retail LED, built to fit any space
• DOOH zone showcasing Absen’s smallest pixel pitch high-bright lightbox solution for digital advertising
• The bar, featuring Absen’s creative rental FL series, supporting concave and convex curves – compatible with their PL platform

LG LED

The LG stand was their biggest ever ISE stand at an impressive 1,700sqm. The theme was Reinventing the Future, featuring a variety of vertically aligned experiences showing LG LED as part of business solutions. MicroLED was a huge focus, showcasing the depth and breadth of their flagship MAGNIT MicroLED line. Plus, LG presented the latest-generation and expanded portfolio of all-in-on display technology and the popular kinetic LED display with media art.

Samsung LED

In the spirit of Samsung’s ISE theme, Innovating Display Beyond Boundaries, Samsung opted to make their stand open and accessible to visitors to showcase their LED displays in use-case scenarios, helping customers understand the benefits of their solutions. Samsung was the first brand to market with mass production of MicroLED technology, introducing The Wall in 2018, that is now in its 5^th generation. Showcasing more MicroLED products than ever, Samsung was keen to highlight its market-leading position in this dominating trend.

• A first-look technology preview of transparent MicroLED
• The European launch of the Wall, IWC MicroLED was the entrance to the Samsung stand
• The European launch of Samsung’s expanding all-in-one product lines such as the IAC SMD series.
• The corporate xR stage using the Wall IVC virtual production MicroLED series, in association with SmartStage

Sony LED

Sony is our newest LED display manufacturer. Our partnership launched in September 2023. Sony is also leading the way with MicroLED, having first introduced their Crystal LED at CES back in 2012. This year, Sony showcased the 3^rd generation of Crystal LED BH and CH-series, offering a unique and exciting MicroLED experience. The Sony BH-series Crystal LED display is available for demo at Innovation House, giving you a unique opportunity to experience and compare it in a multi-brand LED environment.

Stand highlights:

• The hero screen Sony CH-Series 4K high contrast Crystal LED, a true showstopper
• Crystal LED FLUX, a contemporary take on mobile LED
• Virtual production experience showcasing the breathtaking black levels of Sony Verona LED

Sharp/NEC LED

The Sharp/NEC stand’s main focus was sustainability, featuring real trees and made entirely from recycled materials. The LED showcase followed this, combining quality with sustainability. The premium FC MicroLED series features 40% lower power than traditional LED, the new FE 3^rd generation series has a patent pending design with 66% power efficiency compared to the current design, and the new Remote Power Switch ensures the display is 100% off, eliminating energy being use on standby. This year’s showcase delivered a clear message – that NEC is in the MicroLED game.

NovaStar LED

NovaStar is the world’s largest LED control system manufacturer. Its LED processing is used in many of our partners LED such as Absen, Sharp/NEC and some Samsung SMD lines, plus it’s the ODM partner for LG LED processing. In 2019, we launched as the exclusive NovaStar distribution partner, and all NovaStar LED controllers provided by PSCo come with a 3-year warranty.

Stand highlights:
